About the Recipe
Aloe Vera has been used for years to treat chronic wounds, burns, and skin irritation. It is a super effective antibacterial and antiseptic ingredient that promotes wound healing by changing the amount and composition of collagen in the wound. It further increases the amount of collagen and promotes cross linking in its structure. Aloe gel also stimulates the proliferation and migration of fibroblasts and keratinocytes to heal the wound. Additionally, Aloe Vera contains various amino acids, mucopolysaccharides, and zinc that provide skin integrity, help retain moisture in it, reduce erythema, and prevent skin ulcers.
